How talent agencies keep a roster without sharing logins

Talent agency software, minus the marketplace: a private roster of magicians and live acts, client book, bookings, files, and invoices — each office on its own login.

A talent agency is not a bigger magician. It is an office that books other people’s talent: magicians, musicians, circus, clowns, variety. The searches — “talent agency software,” “booking agency CRM,” “artist roster” — are from people who have outgrown a spreadsheet and will not put the whole roster in a shared Google Sheet with the acts.

Housecue’s agency office is that book. Separate login from any solo studio. Separate price from Studio Pro. The artist does not see the client. The client does not see the other artists. That is how a house runs.

What the office actually has to hold

  • Roster — name, craft, city, rate, commission, insurance date, rider, emergency contact.
  • Clients — planners, hotels, brands. History of dates and invoices.
  • Bookings — which artist, which host, hold or confirmed, the fee.
  • Files — riders, EPKs, insurance, contracts, briefs. A cabinet, not a chat archive.
  • Paper — agreements and invoices on the office letterhead.

If any of that lives in the artist’s personal login, you will lose it when they leave. If it lives in a public directory, you have given the market your book.

No shared passwords

Agencies sometimes “just give the magician the login for the weekend.” Then the magician sees every other act’s rate. Or the intern. Or a partner who is also a competitor. Housecue will not share a desk. A solo entertainer opens a studio. An agency opens an office. Two accounts if you are both.

Pricing that matches the job

House desk is free with three of each book. House Pro is unlimited, at a different monthly and yearly rate from the solo plan — because a roster is not a crate of silks. Yearly is discounted. See agency pricing.

Discovery is optional

If the office wants to be found, publish a classifieds card as an agency. Hosts filter by country and write in. That card is not the roster. The roster stays inside.

Review codes exist if you are testing the full office for a month. When the month ends, the desk returns to the free cap and you can download the books as CSV.

Questions

Can my artists log into the agency office?

No. They keep their own studio if they use Housecue. You keep the office. That split is the product.

Is this a marketplace to find talent?

No. It is a private office. The public classifieds are opt-in listings, not a shared database of everyone on the platform.

What is the difference from solo Housecue?

Solo is shows, props, and your own gigs. Agency is roster, clients, files, and dates you send other people to play.

Can I invoice the client and still pay the artist separately?

Yes. The office invoice is yours. Artist payment is your arrangement — record commission and rate on the artist file so you remember it.
